before i forget:

apple pie, with puff pastry covering a bowl of stewed apple – courtesy of tanglin club

octopus and feta cheese salad – courtesy of that cafe in newtown

chocolate cake with melted chocolate inside – simply cause everyone seems to like it

banana bread, with caramalised banana pieces on the top – b/c we need a frank’s cafe in singapore

sticky date pudding, with a hard caramalised top and hot toffee drizzled over freely

oxtail – the way my maid makes it

lamb cutlets and beef steak – cause people would be horrified if we didn’t have it

seared salmon – it must still be bright pink in the middle!

chocolate milkshake, with chocolate syrup down the sides, ice cream and cookies pieces – that 7 euro milkshake changed my life

an iced mocha with peppermint iniside – like the way coffee club in wisma does it

heart-shaped coffee -bakerzin!

grilled chicken and bacon open sandwich – the tea room, queen victoria building

beef sandwich with caramalised onions

ham and cheese sandwich, it’s nice ok!

some sort of sandwich where i can put potato chips inside

honey-roasted quail – type of poultry courtesy of becky, because i couldn’t think of the name of that stupid little bird.

and bread with herb BUTTER – the whole olive oil, vinaigrette thing just pisses me off

this is my attempt at trying to care about the food. because i’m always talking about the decor and the service part of my restaurant, but i next to never think about the food i’d have. perhaps next time, the food will actually have some sort of classification. haha, re-reading what i’ve written, i realise reading seared salmon and then chocolate milkshake right below it doesn’t sound particularly appetising.
