I went to shower and when I came back, a guy from my information systems subject messages me on msn telling me that the exam results for that subject are out already. Which is insane given that I just took it a week ago.
Anyway, I got 32 out of 40 for that exam!! THAT IS [...]

The worst example ever
Here’s an excerpt from one of the readings I have to do for management:
Picasso’s blue period can be called a personal blue strategy , since there was consistency in his use of colour across a sequence of his paintings. But did Picasso ‘decide’ to paint blue for a given period of his life, or did [...]

finally FINALLY done!
Less than 15 minutes ago, I was handing in my corporations law paper.
DONE DONE AND DONE!
Whew. For someone who hasn’t slept the entire night, I am surprisingly perky.
I hate that anticlimatic, now what? feeling after finishing something big.
Hopefully I never ever have to do another law subject EVER.
I have no idea how I did on [...]

More from my corporations law textbook
… directors breach their fiduciary duties if they issue shares for improper purposes. If the directors who breached their duty are also the majority shareholders, they will act oppressively or unfaily if, as shareholders, they vote to ratify their improper actions.
I literally LOL-ed when I read that. Silly directors. So naughty!

From my exam preparation notes…
Exam Technique: Some suggestions
DON’T PANIC
Never thought I would say this, but it looks like my lecturer’s a man after my own Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy-loving heart.

I actually wrote this last night. But my computer and my internet were being a bitch to me. They took turns hurting my feelings….
It didn’t occur to me when I blogged the last time but I realised that I just had an extreme day.
I slept at 3am last night, woke up at 930, studied [...]

Post exam 1
I was going to write a post that went something like
What is the best course of action to take on arriving home after an exam?
Why imbibing alcohol of course!
But that would be dishonest because I haven’t actually drunk any alcohol yet. And I don’t intend to because I haven’t really eaten anything all day except [...]

take that! HUA!
You know how I previously complained about dodgy 15% allocations to tutorial participation?
I totally retract that statement! Now it’s:
hooray for dodgy 15% allocations to tutorial participation!!
I honestly couldn’t tell you what hallucinogenic drug my tutor has been on (I’m pretty sure he’s on at least one. The scary thing is, he’d probably appreciate this comment) [...]

Why I don’t study
Instead of the usual excuses, I shall cite academic management theory. Expectancy theory is a subset of motivational theory and is also one of my favourite academic concepts. As a part of motivation theory, expectancy theory attempts to explain the reasons behind the level of motivation in a person. Obviously, by looking at the name [...]

An ode to a tutor
What I would like to write in the evaluation form of a certain tutor:
You disappoint me. Although not for your lack of lawerly training or experience. No. That you have talked about at such great lengths I feel personally equipped to write your CV. What is disappointing is that despite your decades in the corporate [...]
